Hrithik babysits Barbara's drink brother

Although Kites actress Barbara Mori has returned to Mexico, she seems to have left behind a responsibility for Hrithik Roshan.

Barbaras brother Kintaro, who is still around in Mumbai, celebrated his birthday on Friday (April 24) at a suburban five-star hotel. Kintaro got sloshed after a few drinks and was in no state to go home by himself. Apparently, when Hrithik got to know about it, he sent his secretary Ashok Vasodia to escort him.

The story goes that Kintaro was having his birthday bash with a few friends at a famous discotheque. As the revelry continued, the alcohol flowed through the night and Kintaro soon lost count of his drinks. The party ended in the wee hours of Saturday with Kintaro completely sozzled. When Hrithik heard that Barbaras brother was not in a condition to reach home by himself, he sent his secretary to take him home safely, said the source.

Kintaro has been in Mumbai to cut an album with T-series . Hrithik has taken the initiative to help Kintaro find his feet in Mumbai and has put him up in a rented house at Andheri. He also introduced the budding singer to Bhushan Kumar of T-Series , said the source.

She seemed to be miffed about the news of her break up /time out ( whatever) with Ness Wadia breaking before she announced it !! Well it seems Preity Zinta & Ness Wadia have now Officially Broken UP as announced by her. I read this at a bollywood site - Its eems she has sent an email to her team IPL cricket team members.

Says this website "An E-mail sent by Preity to her team clears the cloud that the couple is no longer into any kind of personal relationship and is linked up only professionally. Preity being very straight forward and outspoken clears the air to her team members as they were in utter confused state as what kind of relationship she is presently sharing with Ness. It seems the smoke will not leave Shahrukh Khan even in South Africa. It seems Shahrukh Khan could be banned from watching IPL matches live at the stadium in South Africa for smoking in public while cameras are broadcasting.

The anti-smoking lobby is trying very hard to get celebrities not to smoke on screen. The National Organisation for Tobacco Eradication (NOTE) said in a statement issued here Saturday that its counterpart South African National Council Against Smoking (NCAS) is lobbying with the official broadcasters to ensure that footage of smoking, especially by celebrities, should not be broadcast."We have sent the details to Supersport, who are the official broadcasters of the IPL and the NCAS is in the process of soliciting an agreement that they will not show anyone smoking," NCAS's convener Peter Ucko informed NOTE on Friday."If Khan does it again we will ask the management to caution him, or we will seek his removal from the stadium," the press note states.The NCAS has also assured that they would lobby with the chief executive officer of the Wandereres stadium Alam Kourie to enforce the 'no smoking in enclosed areas' law."We have also asked the stadium management to make no smoking announcements through the match and during drinks breaks."

Feroz Khan Died Yesterday

Bollywood actor and producer Feroz Khan  died of cancer on Sunday night at his farmhouse in the outskirts of Bangalore.The 70-year-old actor-director-producer, who had been fighting against the dreaded disease, finally succumbed at 0230 hrs at his farmhouse at Chicbidarakaval.

Feroaz Khan's brother Sanjay Khan told reporters that the burial procession would begin at 1430 hrs and the actor's mortal remains would be laid to rest at Johnson Market burial grounds on Monday evening.

Several leading personalities of Bollywood have started arriving at his farmhouse to pay their last respects including Sanjay's son-in-law and superstar Hrithik Roshan.

Mallika Sherawat's Painful Divorce

The latest issue of 'Stardust' magazine, which hits the stands today, gives an insight into the actress' marital past, including an encounter with Mallika's ex mother-in-law, Mrs S S Gill.

Mallika was married to a pilot, Karan Singh Gill, when she was still Reema Lamba (her real name). The actress has never spoken about her whirlwind marriage and subsequent divorce. After achieving stardom, Karan and his family went into hiding, not wanting to do anything with Mallika anymore.

In an exclusive, 'Stardust' also tracks down Mallika's ex mother-in-law, Mrs G S Gill who makes no bones about her disapproval for her ex-bahu. When asked about Mallika, Gill says, "We don't know anybody named Mallika. A few years back, we had a girl in our family called Reema Lamba. She was my daughter-in-law and we all loved her very much. But, afterwards, her behaviour and independent nature started creating problems for us."

Mrs Gill explains that Mallika's soaring ambitions to make it big in Bollywood is what caused problems for the family. She says, "We wanted a girl who was independent in her thoughts but at the same time, someone who understood the needs of the family also. But her dream was something different from what we expected. She wanted to have a career in the glamour industry."

Reportedly, Karan has got married again but does not want to be associated with Mallika in any way.

It already seems to have - But why does a director like Madhur Bhandrakar who has made movies like Fashion and Corporate need frontal nudity to gain publicity ??? Or is it Neil who is banking on such cheap publicity to make his career take off ? Anyway here is a photo of Nude Neil in Jail. 

Neil shot for a nude scene, which was shot at Karjat. In the film, Neil plays a prisoner and the aforementioned scene is when the jail authorities are torturing him. 

A source said, "Madhur wanted to make the film as real as possible. He is known for his attention to detail and he makes sure that everything is perfect before he starts shooting. Neil, Madhur and a couple of other unit members had visited prisons across the country and had also met several criminals to get a firsthand experience of their living conditions." 

While shooting the particular scene with Neil in the buff, Madhur made sure that only he and the cinematographer were present so that Neil would be comfortable. Initially, Neil was hesitant but once Madhur convinced him that the scene will be done aesthetically, he was at ease. The scene was also shot from the top angle so that Neil would be comfortable.

I read recently on the web that Shilpa Shetty had convinced fiance Raj Kundra not to part with his palatial home at Weybrideg in Surrey in England. Her family has also goven some Feng Shui  tips to get the hiuse fixed and Raj has actually fixed the feng shui problems pointed out by Shilpa's mother.

'My mother is trained in feng shui,' says Shilpa, 'and when she came to see the house she walked in with her compass and noticed two big problems.

She said Raj would be losing money for as long as the garden was sloping away from the house. And in the kitchen, the cooker (fire) and the sink (water) were in the wrong place.'

Shilpa says: 'We changed those things and now you can feel the improved energy as you walk around, and it must have worked because Raj's business has never been better.'  

Not many women would be happy to move into a house their boyfriend had chosen while he was still with his wife. Most would prefer their partner to make a clean break with the past, especially if he had started renovating the home with her.

It's on the exclusive St George's Hill estate, an enclave for the rich and famous, and Shilpa told Raj to hang on to the property after his marriage hit the rocks.

Shilpa adds: 'There is already a child's bedroom here because Raj has a nephew and I can certainly see my children running around this place. And there is enough space for us to live at one end while Raj's parents live at the other. In Indian culture you live as an extended family and this home is perfect for that.'

An imposing tree-lined driveway leads past a horse statue to the side of the house where Raj parks his luxury car beneath triple balconies that make the most of the garden views.

So we all knew Preity Zinta, Shahrukh Khan ( who takes cricket very seriously) and Shilpa Shetty were the centre of media hype for the IPL at South Africa. Well here are some photos and theres a photo of Akshay Kumar as well ( who is shooting in South Africa) which rubbishes all that speculation ( I call it that now despite reports in the press) aabout him not making an appearanvce beacuse of SRK being present. I wonder why he did not hug Shahrukh like that ???? Its aprefectly innocentn friendly hug !!!

Cricket and IPL is becoming for India what football pemier league is for Europe. All Bollywood team owners made an appearance in Cape Town in South Africa for a press conference and also a parade that marks the beginning of the Indian Premier League cricket 20/20 season 2 at South Africa which starts tomorrow.  

Of course thats means Shahrukh Khan( owner of Kolkata Knight Riders),Preity Zinta (owner in part of Kings XI Punjab)  and Shilpa Shetty (owner in part of Rajasthan Royals ). Check out the photoos !!!

The Indian Professional League has announced a Bollywood movie role for one South African lass as it prepares to launch the five-week Twenty20 extravaganza here on Saturday with an inaugural double header. 

The search for a young South African woman with the potential to be a bOllywood starlet  was announced here Thursday by IPL chairman and commissioner Lalit Modi and Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Shilpa Shetty and Preity Zinta, all having stakes in the IPL teams. 

The lucky South African IPL fan with star quality stands to win a role in a Bolywood movie, 50,000 rands in cash, a business class trip to India and other prizes in the 2009 tournament's Miss Bollywood SA competition. 

"We're looking for someone who has the star quality to stand out in a crowd, probably without even trying that hard. It's that special, almost indefinable, quality that makes someone a star more than a beauty queen that we are looking for," Modi said. 

A total of 50 winners will be chosen from the crowds at every one of the eight venues around the country that are to host IPL matches. Winners will be shown on the big screen at every match during the second five-minute break. There will be one finalist per match, identified with the help of  TV producers who will have cameras scanning the crowds. IPL matches are being played in Cape Town, East London, Port Elizabeth, Durban, Bloemfontein, Kimberley, Johannesburg and Pretoria. 

One finalist from each venue will be chosen, leaving eight winners to be hosted and feted at The Wanderers in Johannesburg at the final of the IPL 2009 tournament on 24 May. The ultimate winner will be announced during the final. 

Akshay Kumars Cold War With Shahrukh Khan & IPL

Akshay Kumar stays away from IPL even though he is shooting in South Africa ? Or is it because he is a Bachchan camp follower ? I have seen many many photos of him cosying up with Bachhans. 

Last year Akshay Kumar avidly supported the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Delhi Daredevils.Akshay intends to maintain his distance. When quizzed on this matter, he was evasive, “I am shooting during the nights for Tv show. I would like to spend my day time catching up on my sleep, or spending time with my wife and kids who are also here with me.” 

But when we probed further we realised that Akshay was excercising caution when it came to being associated with any event featuring Shah Rukh. A source said, “There has been a constant attempt to pitch Akshay against the Khans. So far, he has fought a lonely battle to develop and maintain his brand name. There's a strong attempt to demean his latest film Kambakkht Ishq. He even knows where these attempts are emerging from.” 

Akshay said diplomatically, “Right now, I do not want to say anything. I know exactly who these people are and I wish they would do their own work and let me do mine. The day I decide to speak out about them, they won't know where to hide. I've worked really hard on Kambakkht Ishq and I won't let anyone spoil it for me.”

Priyanka Chopra discharged from Hospital

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who was admitted to a hospital here for a stomach infection and exhaustion, has been discharged and is back on the sets of Ashutosh Gowariker's 'What's Your Rashee?'.

The actress was Saturday admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.

'Priyanka had fainted while shooting for 'What's Your Rashee?'. She stayed at home for a few days but when her condition didn't improve, she was admitted to the hospital over the weekend for a few tests,' a source close to the actress told IANS.

'She was discharged from the hospital yesterday (Monday) and instead of taking a break, she insisted on resuming work. She is adamant about completing 'What's Your Rashee?' by the first week of May so that her other projects do not get delayed,' added the source.

Dr. Ashok Chopra, Priyanka’s father, said, “She had fever and had been unwell for some time. We advised her to take a battery of tests and so she has been kept under observation. Though all her test reports are normal, she has been advised to take rest and to slow down her work schedule. We are leaving for a long family vacation, but Priyanka first wants to complete Ashutosh Gowariker’s film (first week of May). She’ll probably be discharged from the hospital today.”

Kambakht Ishq Storyline and Plot

Kambakht Ishq Hate List - Looks like a good movie at least maybe it will be entertaining !!

From what I read online its a romantic comedy types - the storyline and plt are as follows -

Viraj (Akshay Kumar) is a successful Hollywood stuntman who loves women but thinks that commitment and marriage are words that should not exist in the dictionary.He gets paid big bucks for doing what the heroes cant do ( dangerous and thrilling stunts) and lives a lavish life with women,parties and the adrenalin rush during a stunt .

Simrita (Kareena Kapoor) is a hardened feminist - a man hater who is a successful part time supermodel and is aiming to be a surgeon. She has no time in her life for men and thinks they are vastly overated losers.

Lucky (Aftab Shivdasani) - is Viraj's younger brother - he is genuine and lovable. He has been protected his entire life by Viraj and is not as hard and practical as Viraj is. Madly in love with Kamini (Amrita Arora) he wants to marry her but that is one thing Viraj is against. Kamini (Amrita Arora) - is a ditzy,innocent and beautiful lingerie model.But her dream is to get married to a man who loves her.She wants the whole package - a loving husband,cute kids and a white picket fence house.

So what happens when these guys meet and get to know each other ? Thats the movie.

The worst nightmare of a beautiful lady is to wake up one fine day and find herself old and haggard. Same goes for gorgeous Aishwarya Rai, who is becoming insecure with age and time. Few years back, the lady ruled supremely and was admired for her flawless beauty. But now she needs her powder and rouge to look beautiful. Recently, the lady had a face-off with director Mani Ratnam over her make-up.

According to sources, director Mani Ratnam asked Aishwarya to put no make-up for her look in the second half of the film 'Raavan'. But Mrs Jr Bachchan refused to do so. The no make-up look was in accordance to the demand of the story, wherein, Abhishek's character abducts her and Ash's character undergoes a major transformation.

A source told to a news daily, "Mani wants to showcase her character without make-up in the second half. He believes that since she's separated from her husband, the raw look is important to express the loss and pain she's going through." 

But what the Bachchan bahu would do is to sneak-out and return with basic make-up. "There were times when Ash would sneak and put basic make-up and only then, do the shot. Mani would spot the slightest sliver of make-up and would ask her to go back and remove it," said the source.

The source further said that neither Aishwarya nor Mani Ratnam would back out on this issue. Aishwarya believed that basic make-up will not make much of a difference but Mani Ratnam did not agree.

Evidently, Aishwarya does not want to appear onscreen without make-up as more than her acting skills, her age would show.

Akshay Kumar's Wife Twinkle in jail and later released

Yes its over the unbuttoning my Levi jeans act - Akshay Kumar’s wife, Twinkle Khanna, was arrested by the Vakola police and released on a cash bail of Rs 950 late on Wednesday  for allegedly obscene behaviour at the Lakme Fashion Show held at a Santa Cruz hotel a few days back. Twinkle was accompained by her lawyers when she surrendered. A huge crowd had gathered outside the police station  it stayed for the couple of hours she spent at the Vakola police station. Twinkle told cops that Akshay would be coming back to Mumbai by the end of this week and then complete the legal formalities. The trouser was supposed to be unbuttoned by some other woman on the ramp but Akshay went to wife Twinkle,’’ an officer said.

Hrithik Roshan separates from wife Suzanne - reason Barbara Mori

Ok guys here is the latest on the gossip/rumours doing the rounds about Hrithik Roshan separating from his wife and childhood sweetheart Suzanne Roshan because of his sexy Kites co-star Barbara Mori.

Reports circulating in the last couple of days were that Susanne Roshan has walked out on husband Hrithik Roshan with their two kids and moved into her parents' home in Juhu. The reason for the move is said to be Hrithik's romantic liaison with his Kites co-star Bárbara Mori.

Apparently Susanne had been trying to cope with it for months, but finally made up her mind to walk out. The Roshan family insists that the star's wife has shifted temporarily due to renovations in the house, but according to close sources, that's far from the truth. A family friend of the Roshans informs us, "Hrithik and Susanne have been having problems for a while now." Hrithik has become extremely fond of Barbara's family, including her mother and her brother. Hrithik has made a trip to Amby Valley near Lonavala with the actresses' family, minus his wife. Reveals a source, "The couple (hrithik and wife) hasn't been making public appearances together for months, including at awards functions. However, when the talk of trouble in their marriage began getting louder, they made an appearance together at Amrita Arora's wedding, but their body language spoke volumes. Last week, they even made an appearance at Manish Malhotra's fashion show but something went wrong after that." "They are hoping to find a solution to the problem once Hrithik is back in town," says the friend. All calls to Susanne went unanswered. But she insisted it wasn't because she had walked out on her husband. "This is completely untrue. Duggu and Susanne are very happy and very much in love. Susanne had to shift out of their flat last week with the two kids as their ceiling is undergoing anti-termite treatment. The kids can't stay at home while the treatment is going on so Susanne is staying at her mom's place." Hrithik Roshan flew in last night from South Africa and drove straight to meet Susanne at her parents' place in Juhu. Said Hrithik, "I am here sitting with Susanne in her mom's house after dining with the entire family. We have both shifted here for a week with the kids because of termite problems. "We are renovating sections of our floor." A leading Mumbai tabloid had reported the above -Hrithik and Suzanne have parted ways when she had moved to her parents' house. The article said that trouble began to brew in their paradise after Hrithik started becoming cosy with his 'Kites' co-star, Mexican actress Barbara Mori. But none of this is true. The actor's spokesperson told IANS -Hrithik and Susanne have two sons - Hrehaan, four and Hridhaan who will celebrate his first birthday next month.

We all have read that the new Femina Miss India Universe 2009 is Ekta Choudhary and Pooja Chopra is Miss India World 2009 but it was amazing to see that most of the judges on the panel were Bollywood celebs.

There was Ajay Devgun( looking thoroughly bored), Sushmita Sen,Madhur Bhandarkar (maybe his next film is about beauty contests),Asin and Deepika Padukone amongst other judges.

Kareena Kapoor's dress for one song costs Rs. 8 lakhs !!

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor will sport a dress worth Rs.800,000 for "Kambakkht Ishq". Producer Sajid Nadiadwala had specially ordered it for the actress from Paris. 

"When the song was completed and the whole crew had a look, it looked very beautiful and eye catching. But most importantly everyone's eyes were stuck at seeing Kareena's dress. Kareena was looking gorgeous. The dress cost Rs.800,000," said a source close to the producer. 

The filmmaker has also gifted the dress to Kareena as she looked really pretty wearing it. 

"Sajid Nadiadwala is a wonderful person at heart. He always makes sure that his cast and crew is happy. Kareena was happy after receiving such an extra-ordinary gift from Sajid bhai. She was short of words to express her feeling after she received the gift." added the source.
