Copycat Amrita Arora and Usman Afzal

Amrita Arora"s London-based cricketer boyfriend Usman Afzal got her name tattooed on his forearm if Saif and Kareena style. He got the name of girlfriend, Amrita Arora tattooed on his forearm; along with the day, month and the year they met. Says a source close to the couple, "Usman wanted to do something special for her something that would show her how much she meant to him. A few days before V-day, he went to Hakim Aalim's salon and got Amu's name inked in Hindi. The tattoo was done by tattoo artist, Vishwas and it took nearly three hours to complete. Amrita was delighted when he showed it to her. en he met Amrita for the first time. It was four years ago and he remembers the exact date — which is November 12, 2004. It's so romantic thing that a guy remembers everything important about the day he met his ladylove." Amrita Arora confirms the tattoo but adds, "It's too personal to talk about." She never imagined that Usman would make such a big gesture. Usi had a henna tattoo done in Goa when Amrita was shooting there for Golmaal returns. He has been wanting to do it for years but I guess it was the right time." When Saif had tattooed Kareena's name on his arm in Devanagiri, Amrita had been very impressed. When Usman saw how much it meant to his girl, he made up his mind to get inked as well.

Rakhi Sawant Finally Gets A Yash Raj Film
Yes, Rakhi will be seen sharing the screen space with none other than Shahid Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee in Yash Raj's next, which is to be directed by Anurag Singh. Without divulging many details, the spokesperson from Yash Raj films confirms, "Yes, Rakhi Sawant has been signed for YRF production in a Shahid Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee starrer film." Apparently, Rakhi will be playing the role of a dancer from Bhand Samaj doing Nautanki. Nevertheless, Rakhi's talent seems to be catching attention first with Rakesh Roshan's Krazzy 4 and now Yash Raj. I guess all those publicity stunts finally paid up !!

Shah Rukh Khan as Spiderman in a Movie

First it was six packs, item numbers and for his son it was cricket matches - now Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan wants to do an Indian version of the "Spiderman" as a gift to his son Aryan who is a big FX and SRK fan.
And the director chosen to put together this movie (which will the most expensive movie ever made in Bollywood) is Anubhav Sinha.
Though Sinha is not willing to reveal more details about SRK's "superhero" project, the film will require a 12-year-old boy to co-star with the actor.
At the moment, the hunt is on for the boy, who will get the opportunity to join Shah Rukh's fantasy of donning a cape and flying across the sky at supersonic speed.
The character that Shah Rukh will play is based on gizmos, computer games and a superhero on the lines of "Spiderman".
Whether he takes credit for the screenplay remains to be seen. At the moment, all systems are ready to start SRK's most expensive movie before the end of 2008.
"I want my company Red Chillies to become truly FX-savvy. Have you seen '300'? That's the kind of optical effects I want in our cinema," SRK had said with characteristic gusto.

Jodha Akbar Review or Yucky View

Jodha Akbar was one of the movies I was dying to see waiting patiently for its release.
I shudder when I think of the extent I went to buy tickets ( which were house full and sold out in all the 3 multiplexes near my home). It was like fate as I almost did not get tickets even at the last minute except for a cancellation. At that time I was thinking "What a dork, he's canceling 9 tickets". Now I realize his wisdom !!
I caught the movie (a second day evening show) and it was a big let down.
What it was is a beautiful documentary on Rajasthan, Indian jhadau jewellery and embroidered Indian clothes. The movie was a damp squid compared to "Swades" ( Ashutuish Gowariker's previous movie ) and I came away from the multiplex only with the brainwashed wish to visit Rajasthan on a holiday.
The movie story ( I wont say plot because it did not have a single focused plot) is based in the Mughal era of Indian history. Its about a young Jalaluddin Akbar ( Hrithik Roshan) who thinks it neccesary to agree to an arranged marriage with Jodha Bai ( Aishwarya Rai) the daughter of the Hindu Rajput king of Amer, Raja Bharmal ( Kulbhushan Kharbanda). Akbar thinks this necessary to secure the safe pilgrimage of Muslims to a dargah which is in Amer and also believes this would be the perfect way to establish a mughal foothold in India
by marrying into the local aristocracy. What follows after a couple of bad war scenes is a a few scenes of what could have been a refreshing love story that shows everyday husband wife things between Akbar (the Emperor of India) and his Hindu queen.
Of course there must be villains so there is an evil brother in law ( married to Akbar's sister) who tries to usurp the throne from Akbar and there is the evil nanny Mahamanga (Ila Arun) who plays the worst mother in law to Jodha (Aishwarya) plotting and planning soas to maintain her position of power in Akbar's household. In fact Akbar's mother is an angel compared to this nanny !! I cant even imagine akbar being brought up by Shashikala or Lalita Pawar !!
I do wish Mr Gowariker had focused on the movie as a love story ( some domestic scenes between Hrithik as Akbar and Aishwarya as Jodha were so refreshing) and left out the historical and war monologues !!! For one the historical facts are wrong but even if we plead creative freedom for artists all the war scenes are pathetic !!! I mean the cannon balls leave the cannons and just spray sand and they dont even explode....maybe Mr. Gowariker needed some info on chemistry and physics here !!
And to make matters worse the last war movie I saw was 300 and that was truly magnificent
( special effects and the potrayal of war scenes and their drama and all !!) so Mr. Gowariker examine carefully the people who say they were impressed by the war scenes in Jodha Akbar they are ass- lickers, relatives or the urban uneducated !!
After an intelligent movie like Swades this is a real let down !!!

Mallika Sherawat Censored in Pakistan

She is in a controversy again this time its about the movie Welcome.
Pakistan's censor board has now reportedly objected to some shots featuring Mallika Sherawat, who is no stranger to controversy. Pakistan Cinema Owners' Association secretary general Safdar Khan said the censor board has handed over the censored version of the film to cinemas. Cinema owners have been warned of strict action if they continue to show the uncensored version.
Interestingly, Mallika Sherawat, the queen of item numbers, has for the first time in her career been shot aesthetically in the film Welcome and does not look vulgar. In fact, some cinema-goers contend that Pakistani actresses are more vulgar than Sherawat.

Akshay Kumar - Aarav's Spiderman
![]()
Akshay in an upcoming film has a stunt that involved jumping from one moving elevator to another at the height of 110 feet. Not only did he not use a stunt double for this risky stunt he also did not use a safety harness. Our very own desi daredevil apparently loves action.
When asked about how son Aarav feels about this, Akshay responded that he loves it and that he was Aarav's Spiderman and Sponge Bob all rolled in one !!

Rakhi Sawant Slaps Abhishek on Valentines Day
She has done it again. Rakhi Sawant the queen of publicity stunts has really taken the cake this time.
She slapped boyfriend Abhishek 3 times successively on live TV during valentines day during a so called lovers fight. The incident took place at Rakhi's flat and that is where all the press channels were called with cameras. The driver /bodyguard standing by did nothing to stop either of them in fact the TV channels report he helped Abhishek carry up the flowers and teddy bear and he looks really bored as if they have rehearsed this. During the argument Rakhi made many statements saying she cannot forgive him and that she loves someone else. Rakhi's mother also came and yelled at Abhishek.
and after all that drama they made up and spoke to the cameras !! The actual live video with sound is at http://www.dubbagol.com

Manyata Dutt Also Married to Sleaze Miraj Ur Rehman

Apparently Sanjay Dutt and Manyata may be officially married, but Miraj-ur-Rehman, who was in the news sometime back for sending sleazy SMSs to starlets, has produced photographs proving he is married to Manyata (Dutt). Their nikah was performed by a qazi (in picture) in 2003. He further claims that they also have a son. Miraj brought out photographs of him and Manyata at their nikah ceremony, and also on their honeymoon. He claimed Manyata is still his wife because Talaaq is not taken.
Is he pulling another faker ?

Sanjay Dutt's daughter Trishala Upset with Wedding and Baby

Sanjay Dutt’s daughter Trishala Dutt is very disturbed with the news of her papa’s new wife, Maanayata’s pregnancy. It was difficult enough to deal with the unexpected khabar.
Trishala was woken up at 3 am (on February 11) by a TV reporter who asked her to comment on the shaadi. Sanju had invited friends from LA and Chicago but hadn’t thought it necessary to break the news to his only daughter.
After hanging up on the TV reporter, the 20-year-old called her father who confirmed the wedding. A source close to the Dutt family informs, “Sanju wasn’t concerned about her reaction. He was more worried about her talking to the media. He forbade her to talk to the press.”
The source adds, “She is shattered and has gone into a shell since hearing the news. She hasn’t talked to her aunts, Priya and Namrata, and her cousins Saatchi and Sia, who are very close to her. Sanju always told Trishala that he had no plans of getting married for the third time.”
The source continues, “She is really shaken by the news of Maanayata being pregnant. Apparently, she told Dutt on her last trip that she wants to be his only child and she would be very upset if he became a dad again. She adores her dad and since she doesn’t have a mom, is very possessive about him. She feels that their relationship is still in the developing stages, as she has never lived with him. She doesn’t want to share him with a sibling.”

Rakhi Sawant's Boyfriend For Nach Baliye 3 Only - Auntieji deTrumours

I for one always did think it was just an act for her to win Nach Baliye 3 and now that its over she has to find a graceful way to get rid of him. Even on the TV show Begum their relationship looks strained and fake.
Bas te phir aur ki..... after Nach Baliye 3 Rakhi had to lose him !!! It was just a matter of how and when !! Poor Mr. Awasthi !
The couple had an argument on Monday night after which the actress threw her live-in boyfriend out of her house.
A source reveals, “Rakhi was talking about her career and the direction it was taking when Ahishek butted in to express his point of view. Rakhi didn’t take kindly to his comments and snapped at him.
They then began arguing. Rakhi was very upset and asked her boyfriend to leave. Abhishek didn’t take kindly to this insult and stormed out. He went with Shezwood to his house.”

Maanyata Pregnant

Apparently Sanjay Dutt and Maanyata were already married a year back. Last year, in a midnight conversation with a MIDDAY reporter, Sanjay Dutt had admitted that he was married to Maanayata. She has been living in his apartment at Imperial Heights for over a year.
A industry insider says, “His close friends Bunty Walia and Sanjay Gupta had been present at the wedding last year, and everyone knows they are husband and wife, so why did they get married again in front of their friends and family? It was almost as if they wanted to make it known that they are married. It’s obvious they wanted to out the shaadi now because they have a more special announcement to make shortly.”
Since Sanju and Maana have denied being married, it would’ve been uncomfortable for them if the news of her being pregnant got out, so they decided to have the saat pheras. On Sunday, Maanyata deliberately showed up at a event teeming with media, with sindoor in her maang. She desperately wanted the news of their wedding to be featured prominently by the press. The source adds, “It was she who conveniently ‘leaked’ the details of the venue etc, to the press.”
The channels showed up at the venue before the couple did. Later, the newly-weds came out and waved to the waiting media — happily announcing their married status.
The baby news will follow soon. Both Sanjay and Maanyata didn’t revert back to deny that she was pregnant. However, a source close to the couple confirmed that she is pregnant.

Kareena and Saif - First Fight

There was no screaming or hysterics involved but it was very obvious to everyone present that Kareena and Saif were having a tiff. This happened at Amrita Arora's birthday bash.
A source says, “Bebo and Saif walked in together. She wasn’t her usual perky self. The couple kept to themselves in a corner, and were arguing about something. The situation took a turn for the worse after Bebo put on a buddy-buddy show with Salman Khan. Kareena and Karisma have always been extremely fond of him. Bebo went across the room to greet Sallu, and this irritated her Nawab beau.
Adds a source close to the couple, “Saif is a very possessive guy. He doesn’t approve of Kareena’s display of affection for other male actors. Also, there were lots of big stars at the party (Salman, SRK) and in a situation like that, Saif gets really insecure. It was very obvious that he was getting irritated with Bebo’s interaction with the other macho men around.”
According to an actress present at the party, Bebo is normally restrained around her new beau but that day she was in ‘high spirits’ and was holding Salman’s hand while talking to him. At one point, she even cupped Sallu’s face into her hands.
Saif was sitting across the room and watching this drama. The source continues, “Bebo kept ignoring Saif and chatting with Salman. When she finally went back to Saif’s side, he ignored her. He refused to speak to her and was sulking. She kept asking him what was wrong and why he wasn’t talking to her.”
At some point in the night, the actress began to feel sick, and Saif took her home, but he didn’t speak to her for two days after that and even ignored all her calls and SMSes.
Saif chose to brush off the incident with, “The story is complete rubbish! Salman is my brother and the party was great fun.” Kareena remained unavailable for comment but a source close to her states.

Salman Khan In Computer Games

Well Salman Khan has recently lent his name and face to two new computer games to be launched by Zapak Dotcom.
One game is about Salman as an artist. Basically Salman ( animated Salu) is drawing a painting and the player has to guess what he is drawing. You score if you guess correct otherwise Salman gets angry with you !! I guess even the game concept creators know of Salman's legendary temper !!
The other game is about Salman riding a motorbike and flying a kite at the same time. Basically one has to get Salman to race on the motorbike without breaking the kite string.
After Bollywood turning superhero with Krish and all the band wagon following the fad with superhero movies ( ahem Abhishek Bachchan in Drona not to mention Priyanka Chopra ) the new fad for Bollywood celebrities seems to be computer games and endorsing their own animated versions ....I wonder which celebrity will follow this new fad next ?
